How Sad, How Lovely

I’ve loved this album for years and it still manages to make me cry. I preordered this vinyl and just got it in the mail, the only vinyl I’ve ever ordered online. The experience feels intimate, listening to the bits of Connie talking between tracks, feeling like I know women so similar to her, and singing along off-key imagining the kitchen she was sitting in while recording. How Sad, How Lovely indeed.
